Coconut Oatmeal with Bananas, Dates and Honey

On most days, this is my top preference for my first meal of the day! The oats are a great source of energy and also help in lowering cholesterol. I love having such a warm, tasty and nourishing meal for breakfast especially on a cold day. It’s also very easy to prepare which makes it a great option when I have to be out of the house in a hurry.

  • 40g Rolled oats
  • 200ml Coconut milk (or almond milk, or any other plant-based milk)
  • 1 Banana
  • Chopped dates
  • 1 tbsp Honey

Mix the oats and coconut milk in a saucepan and cook for 3-5 minutes, until they are hot and creamy. Once it has cooked, serve it in a bowl and top it with the sliced banana, dates and honey. Enjoy!
