I often get asked where I eat out – where can we indulge in a delicious meal that’s also healthy? I do admit that the options on most menus will not be as extensive as we would like but the list of spots where I can grab a yummy nourishing meal are growing. Here’s one of them – Le Grenier á Pain on Riverside Drive in Nairobi.
I like that this beautiful French restaurant has vegetarian options on its menu. I was tempted to have the Vegetarian burger but the Toast Ratatouille won me over. It’s a mix roasted peppers with guacamole spread, seasoned carrots & zucchini with roasted sweet tomato paste, and eggplant – yummmm! Usually, it’s served with parmesan cheese and I was glad that the staff were very willing to omit it to suit my diet.
